Ten At A Time Receives NonProfit Award

Calvin and Carter Miller received the Austin Recognize Good Legend Award at the courthouse May 4 for the nonprofit they started Ten at a Time.

Each month the Millers invite a group of their friends to donate $10. One boy gets the pooled $100 and has a month to give it away. At the following meeting, he reports on where he donated the money and how it was used.

“I feel that my money is making a difference to others who need it,” 12-year-old Carter Miller said. “I like the way we do it because I feel like I’m doing good at every meeting, every month.”
